This page explains, in plain English, what information Hannah Beauty & Spa collects from visitors and clients, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote this because California law (CalOPPA) requires it, and because we think you deserve clear answers.

Who We Are

Hannah Beauty & Spa is a small beauty business owned and operated by Hannah Vo, with two locations:

Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to serve you:

• Contact information you provide — your name, phone number, and email address when you fill out a form on our site (membership signup, newsletter signup, contact request).
• Booking information — appointments are made through GlossGenius (Placerville) or Square (Citrus Heights). They handle that data on their own systems; we receive only what we need to confirm and prepare for your visit.
• Browsing information — when you visit our site, Google Analytics records anonymized data such as which pages you viewed, your approximate location (city/region), the device and browser you used, and how you arrived at our site. This helps us understand which content is useful and improve the experience.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to inquiries and confirm appointments
• To manage Lash Memberships and other subscriptions you sign up for
• To send you the announcements, promotions, and beauty tips you opted in to
• To improve our services and our website
• To meet legal obligations (tax records, etc.)

We do not use your information for any purpose you didn't reasonably expect when you gave it to us.

Who We Share It With

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the business. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.

If we are ever required to disclose information by a lawful subpoena or court order, we will comply, but we'll let you know unless prohibited.

Your Choices and Rights

• See your information. Email us at the address below and we'll send you a copy of what we have on file.
• Correct or update your information. Tell us what's wrong; we'll fix it.
• Delete your information. Ask us to remove your data, and we'll delete it within 30 days, except where we're required to keep it (e.g., tax records).
• Stop receiving marketing. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also reply STOP to any SMS, or contact us directly.
• Opt out of analytics. Use a browser extension that blocks Google Analytics, or enable "Do Not Track" in your browser. We honor Do Not Track signals on a best-effort basis.

Cookies and Tracking

Our site uses Google Analytics, which sets small cookies in your browser to help count unique visits and understand how the site is used. These cookies don't identify you personally. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information — encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords stored as one-way hashes by our service providers, access limited to staff who need it. No system is 100% secure, but we treat your information with the same care we'd want for our own.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, post a notice on the homepage. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
